CANDIDATE STATEMENT

ROSEVILLE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT, TRUSTEE AREA 5

Name: JONATHAN ZACHRESON

Age: 40

Occupation:  Roseville City School Board Member / Education Policy Director / Father

Education and Qualifications: As your current Roseville City School Board Member and as the president of an education non-profit, I’ve been honored to serve and advocate for policies that prioritize parental involvement and student well-being.

My experience as a Certified Public Accountant and finance manager has provided me with the skills to ensure our school district operates efficiently and responsibly. I’m dedicated to maintaining fiscal responsibility while enhancing educational outcomes.

I'm proud to have the endorsement of over 50 state and local elected leaders and to have contributed to making Roseville and Placer County schools among the best in California.

As a father with school-aged children, I’ve lived in Roseville for nearly two decades, raising my children in our local schools. I believe that schools should provide students with the best education possible and prepare them for the future.

If re-elected, I will continue to prioritize educational excellence, parental involvement, transparency, fiscal responsibility, attendance, improving the school environment, school safety, and special education.

I'm committed to representing the interests of parents and taxpayers and helping Roseville remain a great place to live and raise a family. I look forward to continuing to serve our community.
